The Bank of the Republic is allowed to inform the public that false information has been disseminated about the suspension of the circulation of one hundred thousand and fifty thousand pesos bills. In this regard, the Bank of the Republic allows itself to reiterate that said information does not correspond to the truth and that the corresponding criminal complaints will be presented in the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation.
The Bank of the Republic asks the community in general not to take into account this information and avoid disclosing it to prevent any impact on the normal development of payments in Colombia.
