Vietnam issues silver coins to celebrate Trump-Kim Summit

Three hundred silver coins will be issued today to welcome the summit between US President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong-un to be held in Hanoi on February 27-28.

The two faceted coin, with one- side having the symbol of peace and imagery of a dove holding an olive branch and the flags of both Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the USA and on the other side there is the summit date and the image of a lotus. Each one of the coins costs 500,000 Dong( US$21). Earlier to celebrate the second summit, the US issued 1000 coins worth $100 on 23rd of February. After the announcement of the white house, to issue another coin to mark the first Trump-Kim summit witnessed by Singapore, it also issued gold coins to celebrate the summit held last year in the country.
