Sudan – Central Bank Begins Printing The New Currency High Categories

In the midst of extreme secrecy and follow-up by the relevant authorities, the Central Bank of Sudan has practically begun printing the new currency categories, which are expected to be officially launched in mid-October.

The Sudanese currency press intensified the efforts of employees and workers to complete the printing of the currency during the period set by the Central Bank of Sudan, where the printing press has exhausted the maximum capacity since the Eid al-Adha holiday spent by some technicians inside the printing press to accomplish the task.

Informed sources said part of the new currency would be printed in a European country likely to be Germany.

The newspaper pointed out that the new currency to be traded will be of the categories of one hundred pounds and hundreds of pounds beside the category of fifty pounds.
