Polish Company to Print Afghani Banknotes Worth 10 Million

The National Procurement Authority (NPA) of Afghanistan has announced that the printing of Afghani notes was awarded to the Polish Security Printing Works (PWPW).

The total value of the printed notes will be 10 billion afghanis and denominations will be 10, 20, 50, and 100 afghanis. The contract is worth $8.5 million US dollars which will be implemented in six to eight months.
