Banco Central de Costa Rica presented its new family of polymer banknotes.
The notes of 20,000 colones (CRC20,000.2) are the ones to be on 26 November 2020.
Those of 2,000 (CRC2,000.3) and 5,000 colones (CRC5,000.3) will be issued in December, while the notes of 1,000 (CRC1,000.5) and 10,000 colones (CRC20,000.2) should be released next year or sooner.
