A new euro coin set dated 2019, was issued by the Central Bank of Malta on 13th May 2019. The prehistoric temples of Ta’ Ħaġrat are depicted on the eight Maltese euro coins as well as on the €2 coin. These coins were struck at Monnaie de Paris in France and of uncirculated quality. Noel Galea Bason is the designer of the coins. The limited 15,000 sets will be presented in an attractive and illustrated blister-pack. Through the Bank’s website, these sets may be purchased directly from the Malta Coin Centre e-shop.
